Why to Pay / Where does my money go ?
For many it may seem strange to have to pay in order to work for free. However, it is necessary to charge a small amount in order to cover costs of the workplaces, training, adventure activities and the families where you live. We are aware of the fact that many volunteers do not have a lot of money and we therefore always work to offer you the minimum price. The work of the Experience Real Nepal program is non-profit and we therefore only charge for administrative costs.
2 weeks Volunteer Nepal program
The cost covers:
- Transportation to and from Kathmandu Airport + Welcome dinner
- 2 days orientation on Language, Culture and project
- 4 major sight seen in Kathmandu + Entrance fees as well such as Kathmandu
Durbar square , Pashupatinath, Buddhanath, and Sayambhunath (World heritage
places)
- Accommodation and main meals during training period and placement
- One supervision by INFO staff to placement and volunteer
- Two times phone calls in a week
- Administration and Government tax
- Chitwan National Park visit for 2 days (Elephant ride to see the one horn
